this was the land’s end

this is one of the ‘water’ themed pendulums i made • before i decided to use a theme of ‘cool lookin’ for the rest • but if you work with water a lot, this one is a good bet

with thanks to sylvia plath’s poem finisterre for the title

1 in stock

• i found the seaglass while mudlarking along the banks of fountain creek in colorado • technically i suppose it’s creek glass

• the cowrie shells came from an old macrame plant hangar

• i bought a necklace at a yard sale for a buck & took it apart for the beads

• the really thin wire is florists’ wire • i think i got it at a yard sale? • not the same one tho

• the medium-thicker wire, like most of my copper, came from my brother-in-law, who used to fix diesel generators for a living & kept all the leftover bits

• i picked up the steel wire on the side of the road somewhere

• i got the string … um … somewhere

• i’ve been doing this a while, i lose track of stuff

it's this big:

• the entire pendulum is 16″ long, tip to toe

• the loop at the top is 1 3/8″ across

• & the seaglass is 1 3/4″ tall
