[ Loiosh, an orange tabby wearing a green harness, is seen from behind, where he’s standing on a rock overlooking the highway. There’s a semi with a red cab going past. Loiosh’s tail is waving gently. ]
Loiosh: “Mom, when can we get on the road again?”
Me: *sobbing*
CAN’T COME SOON ENOUGH but in the meantime, at least I can take the boys wandering.
Tom is not NEAR so impressed by the highway. Or by road trips. Or anything, really. Especially Loiosh.
[ Tom, a big grey tabby wearing a black and purple harness, is also standing on a rock. He’s looking over his shoulder at something off to the left, & his ears are perked forward. ]
I LOVE this picture, it looks like Loiosh is REALLY MAD at Tom but he’s just making the smellin face.
[ Both boys are sniffing a juniper tree. Tom’s facing Loiosh, & also away from the camera; Loiosh has his mouth open, his lower fangs showing, and he’s giving Tom some pretty good side-eye. ]
Excellent Dramatical Posing on Loiosh’s part! I need a camera that takes better distance shots.
[ Maybe thirty feet away from the camera and up on a slight hill is a bent pinyon tree; Loiosh is standing at its foot, visible in silhouette, looking up the trunk. ]
“Mom? Momma? Mom? Hey, Mom? Mom?”
[ Loiosh in closeup, looking up at me, eyes wide, ears and whiskers perked forward. The sun shines on his handsome face. ]
“Nah I just HAPPEN to be walking this way, has nothing to do with the thumb monkey with the camera.”
[ Tom’s walking past a low pinyon, looking off to the left as if totally uninterested in the thumb monkey, but he’s also walking RIGHT toward me. ]
trot trot trot trot trot TROT
[ Loiosh is walking toward me too, but looking off to the right, tail up, left forepaw & right hindpaw raised in midstep. ]
I think Tom was as wiped out at the end of the day as I was!
[ Inside: Tom’s curled up on the couch, on a yellow and orange blanket that also has my feet under it. His eyes are just barely open. ]
Also he kept me pinned on the couch for at LEAST an hour after I’d planned to go to bed. Can’t disturb the cat!
